Winterberg Activity and Wellness Park

The Winterberg Activity and Vitality Park is centrally located within the town of Winterberg, surrounded by expansive green spaces. It features extensive meadows and walking trails. The area is characterized by birdsong and a diverse insect population. Furthermore, below the Oversum, there is a large children’s playground equipped with swings, slides, and rocking animals. Additional attractions include a balance course, a zip line, and sandboxes. The offerings are complemented by mini-golf, billiard golf, outdoor chess sets, and a game of “Mensch-ärgere-Dich-nicht.” Play equipment suitable for all ages and water play areas are also available. Seating areas provide views of the surrounding nature. An orchard meadow and works of art installed as part of the “Ein Herz für Winterberg” initiative enhance the area. The park serves as a gathering place. During the “Musiksommer” (Music Summer) from May through September, concerts featuring a variety of musical styles are held nearly every week in the concert shell. The park also offers opportunities for activities during the winter months. The spacious grounds are perfect for sledding and building snowmen. Food and beverage establishments provide dining options year-round.
