Hugenpoet Castle, a 17th-century Wasserschloß, impresses with its historic main building and outbuildings, which are designated as cultural heritage sites. It is home to the renowned Michelin-starred restaurant Laurushaus and remains in the possession of the Fürstenberg family. The sprawling park provides a picturesque backdrop for events. In December, the St. Nicholas Market attracts visitors looking to take advantage of the historic atmosphere for their Christmas shopping.
