The Niederbergbahn Panorama Bike Trail offers unique perspectives on the cultural and natural landscape. Located on a former railroad right-of-way, the route crosses nearly two dozen bridges, including Germany’s only railway car bridge. These architectural landmarks illustrate the railway history of the Bergisches Land over the past hundred years. At the same time, they offer sweeping views of Niederberge’s characteristic hilly landscape. The route also serves as a central component of the Bergisches Panorama Radwege network and facilitates connections across regional boundaries.
