BRENNPUNKT—the Firefighting Museum of the Generations in Arnsberg—is dedicated to providing a comprehensive overview of the historical and technical evolution of firefighting. The Arnsberg-Feuerwehr-Historie e.V. maintains a substantial collection ranging from early hand-operated fire pumps—whose history dates back to 1764—to various generations of fire trucks and specialized equipment, as well as authentic uniforms. This exhibition provides a comprehensive overview of the technological and tactical evolution of firefighting. In addition to the permanent collection, interactive installations and thematic special exhibitions enrich the educational experience, highlighting the cultural heritage and vital importance of firefighting for public safety.
