Experience something new every day! For example, with Nordic walking, a healthy full-body workout. In the Winterberg vacation region, everyone will quickly find their favorite route. The Nordic walking trail network meets the quality standards of the German Ski Association. And the conditions are ideal for hiking, too: The Rothaarsteig and the Winterberg High Trail lead along excellent paths up to elevations of 841 meters.
Even winter is full of color in Winterberg. When the first snowflakes fall, every moment spent outdoors becomes an experience. That’s sure to be true for you, too—whether you’re exercising or taking a stroll, strolling through town, or making new friends over mulled wine and Jagertee.
More than 250 snow cannons ensure that 90 days of snow on our red, blue, and black runs are not uncommon. With 83 ski and toboggan runs and a network of about 170 km of cross-country trails, Winterberg is the heart of the Sauerland Winter Sports Arena.
