The Sternrodt adventure mountain in Olsberg-Bruchhausen presents itself with its all-weather mountain toboggan run as a facility for a variety of leisure activities. The facility is located at the foot of the Langenberg and offers a ride experience on the model of an alpine coaster. A further developed playground extends the range of activities on offer at the site. The geographical embedding in the region, close to the 843-metre-high Langenberg, the Hochheide and the striking Bruchhauser Steine, contributes to the qualitative value of the location.

The infrastructural facilities include a high capacity, which is characterized by a passenger capacity of over 300 per hour, which efficiently minimizes waiting times. Comprehensive seating is provided both in the immediate railroad area and in the surrounding local area, which enables flexible organization of individual visits and for groups.

The technical concept of the Alpine Coaster, built by Wiegand Rasdorf in 2002, includes an elevator section of around 300 meters and a height difference of over 90 meters. The descent stretches over approximately 900 meters. The track heights vary between 0.5 and 4 meters; heights of one meter or more are secured by a walkway and safety grating. The toboggans are designed for use by up to two people and are equipped with a 3-point safety harness for the primary rider and a lap belt for the accompanying person. Integrated centrifugal brakes are activated at a speed of over 40 km/h, supplemented by manual brakes. The maximum permissible total weight per sled is 225 kg. The starting distance between the sledges is over 25 meters, with each sledge driver regulating the speed of the descent autonomously.

In exceptional meteorological conditions, operation of the run is temporarily suspended for safety reasons.
