The Delbrück School Museum, steeped in history thanks to the acquisition of exhibits from the former Paderborn School Museum, offers impressive insights into the development of the school system in our region. The valuable collections, once housed in the Schöningh publishing house, have now found a new home in Delbrück. This was made possible by the initiative of Günter Knoche and the support of the local history association and Dieter Rüthing, the former principal of Delbrück grammar school. Numerous exhibits, including an original classroom from the imperial era, can now be viewed on around 50 square meters in the historic Heimathaus. The exhibits, carefully prepared, illustrate the changes in educational practices and the development of writing over the centuries. Guided tours of the museum, led by Dieter Rüthing, offer in-depth insights and are available for groups by appointment. Visitors can support the preservation of this cultural treasure by making a donation.
