Located in the medieval Limpsturm tower, the Camera Obscura light tower in Arnsberg is one of only about forty walk-in cameras of this kind in the world. Its unique feature lies in its horizontal design and the way images are displayed through a transparent screen. This projection offers a unique perspective on the surrounding area. The experience is enhanced by a multimedia presentation.

Directions
The Camera Obscura in the Arnsberg Light Tower is accessible only on foot, as the tower is located in the heart of Arnsberg’s historic Altstadt. You can park your car in the underground garage at Neumarkt or in one of the designated parking spaces on Steinweg/Alter Markt for a fee. Many bus lines stop at Neumarkt. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the Camera Obscura.
