The Botanical Garden of the Ruhr University Bochum extends over more than 13 hectares and offers an impressive variety of exotic plants. Special facilities include a tropical house, a geobotanical section and the Chinese Garden, which was designed in cooperation with the University of Shanghai.

Directions

By public transport Take the subway line U35 to the stop "Lennershof" or "Uni-Center". From these stops it is only a few minutes' walk to the Botanic Garden (entrance "Betriebshof" and entrance "Mensa" on N-Südstraße). Take bus line 320 or 375 to the bus stop "Hauptteingang Botanischer Garten". From the street ("Im Lottental") a short path leads to the entrance of the Botanical Garden.
