A relaxing oasis full of exotic plants. The Botanical Garden at Ruhr-Universität Bochum covers an area of over 13 hectares. The grounds include a tropical house, the geobotanical department and the Chinese Garden, which was created in collaboration with the University of Shanghai.

Directions
By public transport Take the subway line U35 to the stop "Lennershof" or "Uni-Center". From these stops it is only a few minutes' walk to the Botanic Garden (entrance "Betriebshof" and entrance "Mensa" on N-Südstraße). Take bus line 320 or 375 to the bus stop "Hauptteingang Botanischer Garten". From the street ("Im Lottental") a short path leads to the entrance of the Botanical Garden.
