The Botanical Garden at Ruhr University Bochum covers more than 13 hectares and features an impressive variety of exotic plants. Its special attractions include a tropical greenhouse, a geobotanical section, and the Chinese Garden, which was designed in collaboration with Shanghai University.

Directions

By Public Transportation Take the U35 subway line to the "Lennershof" or "Uni-Center" stop. From either of these stops, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the Botanical Garden (the “Betriebshof” and “Mensa” entrances on N-Südstraße). Take bus line 320 or 375 to the “Haupteingang Botanischer Garten” stop. From the street (“Im Lottental”), a short path leads to the entrance of the Botanical Garden.
